About Me

Corfu 2019

Hello and thanks for stopping by!

This blog started as a means of chronicling my travels in my gap year and I resurrected it during the pandemic to continue my passion for writing. I am a presenter, improv comedian and journalist currently studying for my NCTJ.

My passions include travel, women’s issues, current affairs, music, fashion, beauty, education and entertainment. I’m really inspired by Louis Theroux, I love chatting to unusual people and learning about weird and wonderful new topics!

I have written for the Henley Standard, Varsity, the satirical publication ‘The Porter’s Log’ and ‘Girl Talk’, an online magazine aimed at female students.

I also have a degree in Education, English and Drama from the University of Cambridge. At university I was heavily involved in student radio, serving as Deputy Station manager and producing and presenting my own show. My panel ‘97%’, which looked at violence against women, was nominated for Best Journalistic Programming at the 2021 Student Radio Awards.

The posts on this blog are illustrated with my own photography. I hope you have as much fun reading them as I do writing them.
